Situated in the magnificent Piemonte region of Northern Italy, Alasia is under the umbrella of the Araldica winery. They pride themselves on using the best local grapes, coupled with modern vinification techniques and new world know how, to produce wines of distinct varietal character.
The Region
Piedmonte means ‘foot of the mountain’. It is dominated by the Alps and experiences a continental climate. This results in long, hot summers and severe, cold winters. It is not unusual for the region to be blanketed in fog.
The Vineyards
Araldica has access to 900 hectares of vines from 300 growers for their Alasia label. They are planted to varietals like Moscato, Arneis, Dolcetto and Nebbiolo, as well as traditional varietals such as Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernets.
The Wines
The Alasia label produces table and sparkling styles of wines from Chardonnay and native Italian varietals. They range from sweet and musky Moscato D’Asti through to floral and savoury Nebbiolo.

Appearance: Light Gold. Nose: Powerful aromas of honey, flowers and fresh grapes. Palate: Intensely sweet, with flavours of grapes and citrus and finishing cleanly with refreshing acidity.
