All Saints Estate was acquired by the late Peter Brown (of the Brown Brothers of Milawa family) and is today owned and operated by his children, Eliza, Angela and Nicholas Brown.
Together with an innovative and passionate team of people, including winemaker Dan Crane, the team at All Saints are committed to ensuring the wines emulate Peter’s focus on traditional winemaking, as they strive to consistently produce premium Australian table and fortified wines.
All Saints Estate History
Founded on the banks of the Murray River in North-East Victoria, All Saints Estate remains one of the more majestic original properties of the Rutherglen wine region with its castle built in the 1880’s surrounded by enchanting elm trees, amphitheatres, tranquil ponds and manicured gardens.
First established by George Sutherland Smith and John Banks in 1864, All Saints Estate took home the first gold medal for Australian wine at the London International Exhibition in 1873.
All Saints Estate includes a number of vineyards planted just after the First World War, including their Midflat Shiraz and Old Muscat blocks which continue to form the basis of wine blends in production at the estate today.
All Saints Estate Wine Types
The award winning All Saints Estate flagship Family Cellar range is comprised of Chardonnay, Shiraz, Durif and Marsanne. The Marsanne in particular is worth searching out for its aromatic lift and rich creamy texture, which is sourced from the second largest parcel within Australia.
The core estate range produces premium wines suitable for consumption now or with medium-term cellaring. These varieties include reds such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Durif, Merlot and Shiraz as well as unoaked Chardonnay, Riesling and Chenin Blanc whites.
Without doubt, though, the jewel in the All Saints crown is their fortified range of Muscats and Tokays, which are classic examples of this noteworthy Australian style.

Alias I is a white blend, predominantly Semillon, Chenin Blanc, and Chardonnay, but with additional input from varieties as diverse as Muscadelle, Chardonnay, Viognier and Riesling. A fabulous food wine, Alias I is a great match with simple fish ...
Medium to light brick-red colour. Smells sweetly herbal and tobacco-like; I suspect the fruit was a touch green. The palate is light and 'cold', with a lack of fruit sweetness, depth and richness. A bit hollow, and vegetal beneath the aged charact...
Light to medium yellow colour. Pungent 'lemon drop' aroma, some green herbal elements, not that appealing. The palate is a trifle hollow and vapid. Short and lacking flavour and fruit. Fair average quaffing.
