With a history of fruit, vegetable and grapegrowing that stretches back until the 1930's, the Amadio name is synonymous with food and produce. Whilst the family also made their first commercial wine in the 1930s, it is only recently that their wine production has really taken off.

Amadio Vineyard

The backbone of the Amadio business is the family vineyard at Kersbrook in the Adelaide Hills. The Kersbrook vineyard is the largest holding in the Hills, with the grapes utilised by Amadio for their own label and sold to a whole host of other producers.

Amadio Philosophy

'Amadio Wines prides itself on it's consistent standard of premium quality winemaking, from 1936 and vintage after vintage since. Passing three vintages, Amadio is now a nationally and internationally recognised brand. Indulge and enjoy our premium wines with wonderful food and friends. Salut!'

Amadio Wine Types

The Amadio wine range is large, with the winery producing four different labels including Red Shed, Vino de Famiglia, Dog Leg and Amadio. Within these labels the wine types produced include budget and premium sparkling whites, still Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, a Shiraz Rosé, Shiraz, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet. The winery also produces some more unusual Mediterranean varieties in Aglianico, Arneis and Sagrantino (with a Sangiovese for good measure).
