The iconic, family-owned Brown Brothers was founded at Milawa in Victoria’s King Valley and is one of Australia’s most celebrated cellar doors.
John Francis Brown planted the first vines of Riesling, Muscat and Shiraz in 1885 and released the first vintage in 1889. Today Brown Brothers manages several vineyards throughout Victoria and continues to forge a reputation as innovative wine specialists whom craft a wide variety of quality wines.

Brown Brothers Vineyards
Brown Brothers has five vineyards dispersed across Victoria: The original Milawa Estate at King Valley, Mystic Park, Whitlands, Banksdale and the most recently acquired at Heathcote. Each region has its own climatic conditions, ranging from sun-drenched plains, temperate valleys to cooler alpine areas.
