Bunkers is an energetic and youthful brand that has capitalised on two of the Margaret River’s pastimes – surfing and wine. It’s named after Bunker Bay on the Cape Naturaliste Peninsula and each wine is named after a famed surfing break in the region. The Margaret River has become one of Australia’s premium regions for wine and has become a mecca for tourism with the proximity of beaches and vineyards being so close.
Bunkers Location
Bunkers can be found in the famed surfing and wine region of the northern Margaret River in Western Australia. All fruit is sourced by nearby vineyards consisting of clay loam soil over ironstone.
Bunkers Wine styles
Quirky and with a sense of fun, the Bunkers wines are all contemporary interpretations of some of the famed varieties of the region. In the range there is Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet, Shiraz, Tempranillo, and Chardonnay. The Bunkers mantra is that these are serious wines for not so serious people.
