Known for very fine Pinot Noir wines, Curlewis seeks concentration and depth of flavour in their wines, with an acknowledgement of food-friendliness in their styling. European influence, particularly from Burgundy, is notable, but there is a readily identifiable Australian vibrancy to the wines that is unmistakable. Collectors and enthusiasts scramble for the limited quantities of Bel Sel and Reserve Pinot Noirs in excellent vintages.

Curlewis Winery

Aiming for higher concentration and complexity, Curlewis draws on European influence yet acknowledges the benefits of modern advances in winery technology. Perky acidity keeps the wines fresh and full of vitality.

Curlewis Location

With vines stretching over 20 years of age, Curlewis is a well established producer on the Bellarine Peninsula near Geelong in Victoria. WINE TYPES – The focus is on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines, though the range does stretch to Syrah (Shiraz) and Pinot Gris.

Curlewis Brands

Bel Sel is the flagship wine range with the ‘Curlewis’ range following close behind.
