2000 Evans & Tate Barrique 61 Cabernet Merlot

Whether it's barriques or oak chips, this is a very oaky red. It's also very minty. It has a slightly funky, blackberry, mint, cedar and flowery aroma. It's smooth and medium-bodied, with appealing texture and good cabernet-like fruit character together with oaky tannins. It goes well with pink lamb chops.
