Fonty's Pool Location and History
Fontys Pool is located in the Western Australian region of Pemberton. It is situated just outside the main township, amidst an idyllic landscape of lush karri forests. The first Fontys Pool vineyards were planted in 1907 and the winery later established in 1989. The name Fontys Pool springs from an early dam built on the property by pioneering farmer, Archie Fontanini. It became a local landmark and popular swimming haunt.
