This Halliday five star rated winery located in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia, is the ‘baby’ of three mums – Wine industry experts Rachel Atkins (nee Fox), Jane Gordon and experienced winemaker Tash Mooney. They established Fox Gordon in 2000 to enable them to focus on producing small batches of quality wines whilst balancing family commitments. The result has been years of success and acknowledgement for their efforts.
Sourcing fruit from the Adelaide Hills and Barossa Valley off dry-grown, sustainably managed, low yielding vineyards, Tash concentrates on making modern, premium wines from Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Fiano, Shiraz, Tempranillo, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Each wine is named after family members, mainly the kids, and stylistically they express concentrated fruit flavor with alcohol levels around 13.5% to 14%. They include wines such as fragrant, textured Viognier and dense, spicy Shiraz all at surprisingly affordable prices.

Strong purple-red; has an expressive bouquet, with dark cherry ex the Adelaide Hills tempranillo and blackcurrant ex the Barossa cabernet; these two streams flow through the generous and juicy palate, tannins perfectly balanced to give structure. ...
