A captivating late harvest wine modelled on the classic mosel style. Perfumed white jasmine florals, candied lemon verbena & honeysuckle nectar. Punchy & precise with lingering sweetness. 83 grams residual sugar

Sweet spices here and a settled wine with plenty of complex pinot noir fragrance, spice and allure. Red cherries and redcurrant fruits, plenty of elegance and smooth, fine tannin balance. This has a really pretty side to it and plenty of detail, softer than many past vintages, velvety tannin texture and innate balance.

Shake this loose (not literally) with a short spell in the decanter before serving; it'll open up a treat. Some mint, wintergreen leaves and herbs sit across the top of deeply spiced and earthy dark cherry fruits. The precision and detail are what make this wine truly great, all nicely built, balanced and drinking well.

Fromm has delivered a complex and fragrant syrah with peppery nuances and a wildly complex array of spices across ripe black fruits. The palate packs smooth tannins in nice and tight with plenty of peppered plum and berry flavour, gentle licorice and a sweep of fine, juicy tannins through the tightly held finish.

Delicate cucumber, grapefruit pith, nashi pear and custard apple with marine minerals and kaffir lime. Taut, fine and elegant.

Kiwi pinot noir enjoys a deservedly lustrous reputation. This is Fromm's standard La Strada label, a wine with less oak than the Reserve version. It has a ripe but fine nose reminiscent of raspberry eau de vie, along with earthy and undergrowthy interest. In the mouth it's silky textured and long in juicy flavour with ripe tannins to back it up. Try it with roast pigeons.

Juicy berry aromas and thick, textured palate with powerful fruit, chewy tannins and hot finish. Opens up with air. Has cellaring potential.
