Greenock Creek Location and History
Greenock Creek is a boutique Barossa Valley winery located in Seppeltsfield, South Australia. Established in 1978, Greenock Creek specialises in super premium red wine, with a total production of just 2,500 cases per year. Today, the original plantings have been extended and the estate is owned by Michael and Annabel Waugh. They produce fine wines fashioned from ancient, low yielding vines and have developed a cult reputation.
Greenock Creek Wine Range
Greenock Creek is truly an estate winery. Their range of shiraz, cabernet sauvignon and grenache is made from grapes grown entirely on the property and processed on site at Roennfeldt Road. The wines are released in September each year and sell out within a couple of months through cellar door and mail order. Greenock Creek’s Roennfeldt Road shiraz is an iconic Australian wine that is much sought after.
