Heartland wines was created in 2001 by South Australian wine identities Ben Glaetzer, Grant Tilbrook, Scott Collet, Geoff Hardy, Vicki Arnold, Gino Melino and John Pargeter who are also great mates. They have pooled together their collective talents in wine growing, winemaking, marketing and sales to produce wines that range from excellent value for money through to premium Shiraz.

The Wines

There are three wine ranges under the Heartland umbrella; Stickleback, Coast and Creek and the flagship Directors’ Cut Shiraz. The fruit is sourced from mature vineyards in the Limestone Coast and Langhorne Creek regions and are crafted by winemaker Ben Glaetzer. Grape varietals include Pinot Gris, Petit Verdot, Lagrein, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.
