The Kalleske family have been growing grapes in the Barossa Valley since 1853 – they are known as one of the premier viticulture families in Australia, with seventh generation family members still active in the industry today.
Kalleske Location
Situated near the village of Greenock in South Australia’s Barossa Valley, Kalleske occupies organic vineyard sites, growing premium fruit for their boutique range. The vineyards vary in age with oldest dating back to 1875 and the youngest being around 50 years old.
Kalleske Wine Types
The 120 acre vineyard is planted to Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon, Chenin Blanc, Mataro, Petit Verdot, Durif, Viognier, Tempranillo and Zinfandel.
