Kreglinger Winery

Krelinger is a Belgium based company that was formed as a family business in 1797, their business brought them to Australia in 1897 but it was not until the year 2000 that they diversified into wine. They began with the Norfolk Rise Vineyards in Mount Benson and then later acquired Piper’s Brook, one of Tasmania’s best vineyards.

Kreglinger Location

The Tasmanian vineyard holdings are north of Launceston located in the Pipers Brook and Tamar Valley wine regions. Climatically each vineyard is different, these subtle differences determine which varieties are planted where in order to produce cool climate wines of the highest quality.

Kreglinger Wine Styles

The styles of wine that Kreglinger produce for Pipers Brook and Ninth Island are representative of Tasmania so expect to find Sparkling wine, Chardonnay, Riesling and Pinot Noir as well as Botrytis styles. The Norfolk Rise vineyards in Mount Benson produce Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio.

Kreglinger Wine Brands

There are three distinct brands that fall under the Kreglinger banner the Pipers Brook range is made up of Estate wines, the Reserve Wines are wines of real regional character and single site wines that are crafted to represent the soil, climate and fruit selection.

The Ninth Island Range have been made as early drinking styles with all fruit sourced from northern Tasmania.

The Norfolk Rise wines are affordable, great tasting wines for everyday enjoyment.
