Has retained good brightness to its hue; this is in the mainstream of Barossa shiraz style, medium- to full-bodied, with an abundance of black fruits and balanced tannins; there are also oak-influenced nuances of fruit, oak and vanilla.
Pale straw-green; has a convincing mix of bright fruit flavours and an almost earthy acidity; at the right price for those prepared to experiment.
Developed colour; goes a considerable way past the usual '07 toughness with quite juicy black fruit flavours, soft tannins and well-integrated French oak.
