Other Whites Wines from Wineries List: T
This is a Classic Dry White all right with fresh, delicate citrus, even a little bit of melon fruit flavour, some creamy richness all in a very drinkable package - the kind of wine that you can happily drink glass after glass
Suppose you had to pick an ideal place to grow Muscat grapes for the production of Moscato; then surely Northern Victoria would be it. The hot summers, sunny skies and sandy soils are all ideally suited to getting Muscat ripe and some of the oldest Muscat vines in the country are here, all of which adds up to Moscato nirvana. Fitting then that this is so joyously fresh. Love that colour! It's like the innards of a lava lamp! Seriously though (or not) it's a rather delicious and fun Moscato this one, with loads of musky, sweet juicy luscious fruit. It's almost like a fruit cocktail really..
Fresh and lively with an intense sweet tropical nose with lifted spice aromas. Rich tropical fruit and honey flavours fulfil the palate and are complemented by a crisp lemony finish. Food Suggestion: Serve slightly chilled. An ideal accompaniment to seafood, veal, chicken and spicy Asian dishes.
If anyone can nail the tropical trickery of Verdelho it’s Tyrrell’s, they have worked for a long time with this native Portuguese variety and it tends to thrive in the Hunter region. It shows tropical aromas on the nose with a little honey and spice before a refreshing palate of citrus, and honeyed fruit adding texture. It finishes clean with crisp acid, and recommends itself with Asian cuisine particularly Thai or even Indian.
A blend of two flavoursome grape varieties which deliver a fresh, fruity and aromatic wine with hints of spiciness and a crisp clean finish. Serve slightly chilled. An ideal accompaniment to chicken, seafood and spicy Asian, Mexican and Indian dishes.
The combination of Traminer Riesling brings back some old memories of wines from years ago when every bottle shop would have a case of Rosemount or Wyndham Estate proudly front of shelf, and there was hardly a Sauvignon Blanc to be seen. Ahh for the old days! But things have changed yet there was a reason why these wines sold so well – they were delicious! This is far from your overly sweet run-o-the-mill Traminer Riesling – it’s a far more grown up style with lifted floral fruit of Traminer beautifully cut with some “fresh as a daisy” Riesling. A little bit of sweetness in the mouth with some balancing acidity makes it the kind of wine that is sure to turn some heads.
Chenin is an extremely versatile grape, able to make excellent wines in many different guises, from Late harvest to Straw wine to classic dry Chenin and even Méthode Champenoise. This example is a wonderfully lively, intense, fruity and beautifully balanced dry Chenin Blanc. With flavours of pears, sherbet and flint there is plenty of leesy mouthfeel and purity of fruit, whilst finishing with a refreshing lime and mineral length. A true noble varietal, Chenin deserves to be taken seriously –even for everyday drinking wines such as this.

He said She Said' celebrates the fact that men are from Mars, and women are from Venus. Communication can be a stumbling block between the sexes, but this classic white hopes to break down the barrier to reach a mutual understanding that this is a bright, fresh, playful wine. it's a blend of pretty much everything! showing aromas of citrus and tropical fruit salad. The palate is light, vibrant, citrusy and refreshing with a crunchy, fruity finish.
Such a consistent wine this - especially now that it comes sealed with a screwcap. Citrus fruit, crisp natural acidity and a lightly honeyed texture. Will age too. Iconic (if sometimes forgotten) white wine.
A voluptuous, exotically perfumed nose, with deliciously well-defined primary aromas (some floral notes, roses, lilies...), complemented by secondary aromas derived from the wine’s controlled fermentation. Silky and sappy on the palate. Excellent with shellfish (a sublime match for an avocado and shellfish salad, for instance), as well as with fish, fresh melon with cured Spanish ham, pâtés, poultry or pork in a sweet and sour sauce.
Bright and intense with lifted floral, citrus & tropical fruits. A minerally edge and delightful acidity finish it all off and provide support for its long life ahead.
Terra Felix are one of the few Australian wineries that specialise in varieties from the Rhone. This Viognier from Victoria would make an excellent accompaniment for white meat dishes showing lifted aromas of apricot and peach. Like the best Viogniers it has a great mouth-filling texture that’s long with hints of exotic fruit and spices. A really good example of how to get this aromatic variety right.
Scented like orange blossom, with hints of passionfruit and apricot. A juicy, mouth filling palate. A zesty, citrus finish.
The wine is moulded on the great Moscato D’Asti wines of northern Italy. They are technically a Frizzante, a fizzy, lightly sparkling wine but fewer bubbles than traditional sparkling wine or Champagne. The Italian wines are a delight within a wine world often dominated by big bold styles that are ever increasing in alcohol. They are the perfect foil and have evolved on the premise that the intensity of the Muscat grape is best seen by balancing lower alcohol with higher acidity and sweetness than would be acceptable in a higher alcohol wine. Attractive straw colour. Immediate impact of intense Muscat, lychees, and lifted confectionary aromas associated with Muscat grapes. The palat...
Organic wine is not just a hippyish concept made by bearded winemakers on a full moon, it’s a cause to celebrate with the knowledge that the fruit is as pure as mother-nature intended. Tamburlaine are one of the largest producers of Organic wines in Australia and this is their take on the Hunter Valley’s other aromatic white. Nicely energetic on the nose with a rich vein of tropical fruit, nicely rounded mouthfeel and fresh, citrus finish. A firm favourite with spicy Thai food.
Delicate aromas of citrus blossom, nectarine and white peach with a layered creamy palate finishing with clean crisp acidity. Oysters, light delicate seafood or fresh summer fruits. A delightful refreshing aperitif to enjoy chilled when celebrating a special occasion.
Colour: At release, the wine has a very pale straw colour with a subtle green hue to the edge. Bouquet: The wine has lifted aromas of rosewater and lychees with a touch of spice and lemon zest. Palate: The palate delivers equally pleasing flavours of fresh lemon juice, rosewater and a touch of spice. The wine exhibits delightful delicacy across the palate and mouth-watering acidity on the back palate which delivers a crisp, clean finish. Taylors Wine Reviews and Accolades "This Clare Valley white wine offers typical gewurztraminer aromas of lychee, rose petals and spice and while it lacks the pungent impact of the Alsace version, it's still pleasantly varietal. The palate is smooth ...
Colour: A very light ginger colour. Aroma: Exploding with loads of small bubbles, the bouquet is full of ripe peach, apple cider, menthol, guava, persimmon, bubblegum and spearmint. Palate: The entry is light but the texture builds as the wine sits across the palate, the sweetness makes an early impact and then is followed by lovely and pristine fruits of melon, grapefruit and cider. The acid profile helps everything stay in check and carries the fizz factor through with the slowly drying fruit to the late palate. This is a really fun drink which will bring many smiles.
Banish the thoughts of the sweet, cloying Traminer of the 70's. Our Gewurz is racy and restrained with a crisp dry finish. It captures the flavours of musk, Turkish Delight and lychees while maintaining a beautiful line of citrus flavour to the finish. Perfectly matched with seafood, Thai food or any dish with a bit of spice. The Little Wine Co. Awards & Accolades "Lovely little grape, lovely little wine, lovely little name for a wine." - Max Crus, Daily Advertiser
