Rockford Wines is a true cult winery located in the Barossa Valley, established in 1984 it adheres to true artisan technique, hand-producing all wines from vineyard to cellar door. Wines are benchmark for the region and are made with minimal intervention and very traditional technique. The wines are uniquely styled and some of Australia’s most sought after.
Rockford Wines Location
Rockford Wines is located outside the town of Tanunda, set between Jacobs Creek (Rowland Flat) and the village of Tanunda on the Barossa Highway. Rockford produce wines from old grower vineyards within the Barossa Valley wine growing region, accepting only the highest quality fruit from ancient vineyards.
Rockford Wine Styles
Very traditional winemaking equals wines of great character and depth. Basket Press Shiraz is the headliner of the portfolio, but Cabernet Sauvignon performs in excellent years. Don’t discount the Shiraz Cabernet blend, an Eden Valley Riesling, Local Growers Semillon or the striking, super charged Alicante Bouchet Rose.
Rockford Brands
Rockford is the core brand.
