The Binder family is somewhat of an Aussie icon in the wine industry. They have been making wine from their Veritas winery since 1955, and Rolf, together with his sister Christa, are continuing the tradition. Rolf is renown for his red wines and has accumulated five 99-point ratings from Robert Parker. Christa is in charge of the whites having cut her teeth in Europe and as winemaker at Wolf Blass.

Making wines purely from Barossa Valley fruit, they are crafted from varietals such as Semillon, Riesling, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon. Rolf and Christa employ a traditional ‘hands on’ approach to their winemaking in order to maintain attention to detail. The result is wines that range from citrusy Semillon with a hint of oak through to the renowned spicy, earthy ‘Bull’s Blood’ Shiraz Mataro blend.
