Light yellow colour. Peppermint aroma; slightly dusty and nettley, with a hint of development. The palate is light and dry, grippy in phenolics, with a thickness of texture. Plenty of flavour and grip, but a very simple wine.
Shy but sweet cherry, charcuterie-like aroma. Soft, sweet fruited taste with aniseed and plum jam, and a delicious ripe cherry to liqueur cherry quality too, together with some blueberry accents. Good wine; light, dry tannins on the finish.
