Salitage Location & History
Salitage is a premium fine wine producer located in the spectacularly beautiful viticultural region of Pemberton in Western Australia.
The family winery was founded with over 30 years collective experience in Australia, USA and France. John and Jenny Horgan entered the fine wine business more than three decades ago as pioneers in the fledgling Margaret River region. John had worked and studied under the guidance of Robert Mondavi in California in the late 70's. In 1985, he purchased a share in the famous Domaine de la Pousse D'or winery in Burgundy. John established established Salitage at Pemberton in 1988.
Salitage Wine Styles & Labels
The Treehouse range was named after the Horgan grandchildren's Treehouse. The label serves as an entry-level range, with estate fruit complimented by grapes from nearby vineyards within the region.
