Shadowfax winemaker, Matt Harrop is dedicated to producing fine varietal wines with distinctive characteristics that remain consistent from year to year. Fruit is sourced from well established vineyards throughout some of Australia’s best wine regions. They include vineyards located in Werribee, Heathcote, Goulburn Valley, Geelong, Macedon Ranges, Beechworth and the Adelaide Hills. Exceptional parcels of single vineyard fruit are selected for the Shadowfax black label releases. They are produced in very small quantities and characterised by superb quality, complex structure and excellent cellaring potential. Shadowfax Chardonnay is recognized amongst the greatest value, benchmark Chardonnay styles in the country.
