Barry and Jan Morey planted the vineyard in 1985 with the first vintage in 1989. They are known for expressive wines of great character, produced in minute quantity with an adherence to minimal winemaking influence and a respect for the vineyard site. The vines are close planted on a single fruiting wire.

Sorrenberg is located in the premium grape growing region of Beechworth in the north of Victoria. Sorrenberg operates a 2.5 hectare vineyard located on the outskirts of Beechworth township.
Sorrenberg Wine Styles
The wines are traditionally made by hand and show great complexity and depth of flavour. White wines see barrel work for additional texture and detail. Gamay is produced and has a cult following. Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc are also produced.
