Spring Vale Vineyard is located on the picturesque east coast of Tasmania in the Freycinet sub-region. The vineyard is found in Cranbrook, north of the village of Swansea. The vineyard was established in 1996 with a planting of Pinot Noir by Rodney and Lyn Lyne. Additional planting saw more Pinot Noir in ground, along with Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris and Pinot Meunier. In 2007 Springvale acquired a neighbouring property to increase production up to the current approximate 200 tonne level.
