Sticks Winery

Sticks is named after proprietor Rob ‘Sticks’ Dolan who established Sticks wines after a successful sporting career with Port Adelaide AFL club. He has pursued his wine production dreams, assembling a contemporary team of winemakers who passionately follow his "commitment to making fresh, fruit driven cool climate wine."

Sticks Location

Sticks is a single vineyard site set in the Christmas Hills of the Yarra Valley in Victoria. Sticks does source fruit from selected growers across the Yarra Valley to maintain volume and consistency across their ranges.

Sticks Wine Styles

Sticks produces typical cool climate, Yarra Valley wines from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio. White and red blends have been created to fill a commercial end of the market, showing value for money from the premium regional sites.

Sticks Brands

Sticks is the core range, which has been arranged into three tiers – Sticks, Sticks Yarra Valley and Sticks No. 29 range which establishes the flagship wines of the portfolio.

Sticks Winery

Refining in the winery takes place using modern techniques, but fruit sources are key to production at Sticks. Taking fruit from varied sites across the Yarra Valley allows for a greater interplay at blending, as the winemaking team seek continuity in style and freshness of fruit flavours and richness of texture. Medium toast French oak adds additional complexity.
