Stonier is widely recognised as a leading Australian producer of exceptional Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from some of Mornington Peninsula’s oldest vines. The prevailing philosophy at Stonier is rooted in the Burgundian model of expression of the vineyard site. They take a meticulous approach to viticulture and winemaking in order to draw out a delicate imprint of provenance. Stonier pinot noir shows seamless and elegance with powerful varietal expression.
Named after founder (Kenneth) Brian Stonier, the KBS vineyard was planted in 1988. A small portion of the fruit is bottled as the flagshihp KBS single vineyard wine, the balance forming a key component of Stonier Reserve.
