Swings and Roundabouts is based just out of Yallingup north of the Margaret River township in Western Australia, with a cellar door on Caves Road at Yallingup. The operation is a medium sized one with a focus on both pure Margaret River as well as broader WA styles.
Swings and Roundabouts Philosophy'Our strong belief is in the northern Margaret River fruit that can deliver "Mediterranean" style wines that are great for drinking…with or without food. The moderating effects of the temperate maritime climate combined with unique soils and wet and cold winters, provide ideal growing conditions for wine grapes that are both elegant and robust.
Swings and Roundabouts NameThe Swings and Roundabouts name is a description of the way life is, of the ups and downs involved in the winemaking and grapegrowing process that are both highly addictive and also very draining. What you lose on the swings, you pick up on the roundabouts. Life goes around and it all comes back again!
Swings and Roundabouts Wine TypesUnquestionably the focus of the Swings and Roundabouts range is on premium Margaret River wines, with other labels in the range based on WA styles. The 'estate' range then includes a sparkling, Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc Semillon, Chardonnay, Cabernet Merlot and Shiraz.
