Deep red to brick-red/ruby colour. Strange earthy and jammy aromas, a touch of raisin and portiness. Some volatility. Sweet, raisiny flavours - overripe fruit. Some alcohol fuminess on the back-palate.

Light straw/grey almost tache colour. Earthy, dusty straw aroma, savoury - non fruity - and perhaps oxidatively made. Lean and light, soft and dry, but lacks nerve and cut. Not so dry or crisp to close. A bit too grapy and mellow for a grigio.
