Very light yellow colour. Smoky reductive aromas. A trace of sweetness softens the palate, which really helps this wine. It's tight and undeveloped and needs age. Possibly a Mosel Trocken or Halbtrocken attempt.
Medium to full yellow colour, not brilliantly clear. Shy peachy aroma, yeasty and slightly feral. Possibly wild fermented. Rather bitter and lacking fruit. Pretty awful. Very phenolic. Hollow, no delicacy or refinement, a clumsy wine.
Deep purple/red colour. Raw, grapy, blackberry and blueberry aromas, a touch of meatiness, primary fresh and simple. Bitter palate. Hollow and lacks fruit sweetness. Does have some charm and shiraz-like fruit.
