Owners Andrew and Jo Thomas take a hands on approach to winemaking and implement a modern spin on time honored techniques. Thomas wines are lavished with great attention to detail in the winery, ensuring that very high quality standards are maintained. Andrew was awarded Hunter Valley Winemaker of the Year in 2008. The high accolade is a reflection of Andrew’s passion for the Hunter Valley and the outstanding wines they have come to produce.

The Thomas wine portfolio consists of three ranges, with a total production of only 4,000 cases annually. The winery has gained a cult following in recent years and entire vintages often sell out prior to their release.

Thomas Wines Location & History

The first vintage of Thomas Wines was produced in 1997. The young estate has quickly grown to become a highly regarded producer of the Hunter Valley's two great varieties, Semillon and Shiraz.
