Two Tracks Wines

This cracking Chardonnay was crafted by the folk at the famed Wither Hills winery, who know a few things about making aromatic whites in the Marlborough region. Balanced with nectarine and lifted citrus fruit and some subtle oak. These flavours are mirrored on the plate to create a Chardonnay that’s creamy and harmonious and surprisingly long on the finish. It drinks brilliantly on it’s own but is rather partial to being paired with a chicken Caeser salad.

Pinot Noir from Marlborough is starting to shine and this Two Tracks has us excited because it’s the kind of no nonsense drinking that we love because open this any weekday night with some takeaway and you’ve got a recipe for surefire success. Bright fruit on the nose with raspberry and dark chocolate before a palate that’s vivid with forest fruits cherry and plum. It’s soft, and silky with perky acids and good length. It’s one of those wines that will be sunk before you realise its gone thanks to its innate slurpability.

Two Tracks is an exciting new brand from Marlborough, New Zealand brought to you by the good people behind the Wither Hills brand. This fresh and fruity Pinot Gris won Gold at the Sydney International wine show thanks to its lifted, aromatic nose of pear and peach and characteristic spiciness. There’s weight and texture and really refreshing acids that make you think of combining it with spicy Thai fishcakes.
