Has appealing flavours ranging from citrus to peach and nectarine, and thence onto tropical fruits, finishing with soft acidity.
Healthy red-purple colour; an unashamedly full-bodied wine filling the mouth with spicy blackberry fruit that is fleetingly sweet on entry to the palate before lengthening and drying out on the long finish.
Light red, quite turbid; good varietal character: cherry (red, black, morello, sour) is the dominant play on the bouquet and palate; the tannins are exactly as one would wish them to be.
