Watershed’s owners selected the vineyard site after extensive testing confirmed ideal soils for premium wine grape production. Chief winemaker, Severine Logan brings a broad base of knowledge to the Watershed team. After study in France, she gained wide ranging experience in wineries throughout Australia. The driving force behind Watershed Wines is geared towards achieving outstanding results. Watershed crushed eight times as much as the region’s largest boutique vineyards in 2009.
Watershed Location & History
The Watershed vineyard is situated almost 5km south of Western Australia’s Margaret River region. The first vines were established in 2001 to form the largest initial vineyard planting in the district. The modern Watershed winery is one of the few major producers in Margaret River with the capacity to satisfy international wine market demand.
