White Wines from Sandalford 2007 vintage

There's plenty of cool tropical flavours (pineapple, peaches) in this finely balanced Western Australian white. It has a good mouthfeel and a refreshing, clean finish.

This blend continues the outstanding quality reached by Sandalford and winemaker, Paul Boulden, with this wine from the previous vintage. And so it should, as 2007 was a fantastic year in Western Australia. It's again a blend of chenin blanc, verdelho, semillon and some bin ends that works extraordinarily well: delightfully aromatic with fresh garden herb flavours, mid-palate juiciness, and some sweet pea florals lingering on the finish.

Oak prominent on nose but it's stylish and integrated, with lemon zest freshness. Spicy and fresh lemon flavours with a warming finish.

Great nose! Lovely aromatics; smells of guavas, mangoes and toffee apples. Beautifully vibrant palate - long and fresh, with fantastic flavour length. The touch of sugar and balancing acid work well

Fresh orange blossom bouquet and a nicely balanced palate thats round, soft and long.

A light, fragrant, elegant take on the Margaret River SBS blend: pristine lifted tropicals, some lemon sherbet aromas sparkle away below - gets the mouth watering! Lovely pitch into ripe tropical fruit flavours and sweet juicy presence through the middle-palate, finishing with crisp sizzling acidity.

Some candied fruit and plenty of citrus on the bouquet; fruit-sweet on the palate, and quite long, with good texture on the finish.
