Medium to full red/purple colour. Simple cherry fruit and herbal aromas, pleasant and clean, but basic. Rather sour acidity, tangy and wince-making. Light but somewhat hard tannins.

Deepish red/purple colour. Burnt toffee and slightly animal aroma, gamy and a touch feral, with a suggestion of acetaldehyde - or possibly 'dead fruit' as a result of over-hung grapes. There's a touch of bitterness on the palate.
