In 1891 the first vineyards were planted by John Riddoch as the readily identifiable triple-gabled winery was being constructed. Wynns is known for its premium red wine making from the region, though white wines have been improved in recent years. Sue Hodder as chief winemaker has produced consistently excellent wines under the Wynns label, bringing the standard of wine making up over the past decade.

Wynns Coonawarra Winery
The triple-gabled historic winery is a centrepiece for the Wynns winemaking team, but modern technique and cutting edge technology have been implemented to create wines with depth of flavour, regional nuance and concentration. Oak handling is judicious but often notable and ‘Coonawarra terroir’ is readily reflected in the regional wines.
