Zema Estate was established in 1982 with the purchase of a mature vineyard in Coonawarra. Generations of the Zema family are involved in the wine making, grape growing and development of the winery and vineyards. Zema Estate is known for its expressive, Coonawarra accented wines and for their consistency and quality at price points.

Zema Estate is located in the Coonawarra wine region of South Australia and is positioned on the Riddoch Highway north of Penola and adjacent to the township of Coonawarra. Zema Estate has three Coonawarra wineries, planted on the prized Terra Rossa soil and comprising of approximately 61 hectares under vine.
