Red - Nebbiolo

The Nebbiolo variety is native to the northern Italian district of Piedmonte. It is highly celebrated for the great wines of Barolo and Barbaresco and takes pride of place in the collections of many fine wine connoisseurs. The variety is sensitive to site and climate and requires careful handling. Small plantings are grown in Australia by dedicated vignerons seeking the ultimate reward. Nebbiolo produces wines of alluring perfume and power, filled with cherry, tea leaf and roses. High tannin and acidity means they are capable of ageing over the long term.
