Just gorgeous and an extra year shows how these wines improve. These Bellarmine rieslings both dry and sweet are quite stunning and have established a real following in just a few years. Love this one. The keen acid has harnessed the crisp spicy fruit beautifully. The flavour profile lingers through to a very long finish. Not your usual Australian style, but an excellent alternative.

Australian Wine Companion 2013
Bellarmine's rieslings are a model of consistency and quality, and I enormously enjoy the three wines made each year. This wine is made from 100% free-run juice, with multi-blossom aromas and hints of spice on the bouquet. The palate has wonderful intensity and richness, with a lime/tropical mid-palate, tightened up by pleasingly grippy acidity on the finish. There is no fermentable sugar retained in the wine. As always, great now or in 10 years.

The West Australian Wine Guide
Following the enforced discontinuance of ‘Auslese’ for the sweetest of its three rieslings, the Bellarmine hierarchy (in rising levels of sweetness) is Riesling Dry, Half Dry and Select. The floral bouquet has multi-blossom aromas with a hint of spice, the palate with lime juice flavours verging on tropical, the finish with perfect acid balance and freshness.
