Cracka Rating
Appearance: Pale straw with green hues.

Nose: A tight, citrus dominated, nose, showing lime and lemon characters. Some light floral notes, orange blossom and a minerally edge adds interest.

Palate: The palate is Riesling in its purest form, tight and elegant and dominated by citrus fruit characters. The natural acidity is powerful yet wonderfully balanced and gives the wine a mineral structure and great length. The wine is tight and restrained with an attractive delicacy now, yet will blossom with age for at least ten years.
Light, bright straw-green; the scented bouquet has nuances of wild flowers and herbs, together with the more usual lime blossom; the pristine palate has the hallmark intensity and magical acidity that will see the wine unfold its full glory over the next decade and long thereafter. From the Porongurup subregion.

In the zone for this producer with freshness, delicacy and floral citrus zest liveliness. The palate is silky with good weight and fine acidity making it morish and mouth watering on the finish.

Yet another outstanding Riesling from Castle Rock. Spicy minerally and citrus on the nose with an enticing freshness. The palate is so delicate yet so persistent. Precise piercing acid that creates focus and sustains length. Drinking so beautifully now but it has great cellaring potential.
