This wine has a load of medals from around the world and even the odd trophy under its belt which is all very well deserved. It is a subtle fruit forward style with elegant blackcurrant finishing long and fresh. Super value.
Cracka Rating
Fuddling Cup 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon has intense flavours due to controlled yields in the vineyard. The wine was aged in the finest French oak barriques and displays classic varietal character, power and length. The aroma is lifted with toasty oak notes. These follow through to the palate, which shows well-balanced fruit and attractive soft tannins on the finish.

Simple meaty/savoury cabernet with dusty/spicy aromas and beautifully balanced, lingering flavours.
The fact that this was a tough vintage for red wines doesn;t seem to have done these guys much harm. This is a very good medium to full bodied beautifully seamless cabernet. IT's brimming with ripe varietal blackcurrant cabernet plus a little dark chocolate and ripe plum. Oak is well handled and the palate lush and rich. Excellent wine.
