2007 M. Chapoutier Mount Benson Shiraz

6 x 750ml Bottles
Cracka Review
From Chapoutier's somewhat short lived Mount Benson venture, this complex, meaty and dusty Shiraz shows a wonderful savouriness to it that is quite intriguing. If you quite like more evolved and Rhone styled Shiraz then this should be right up your alley.

Winemaker's Note
Appearance: Intense red.

Nose: Dominant of black fruit aromas (blackcurrant, blueberries, cherry).

Palate: Very round, slightly woody structure. The tannins, discrete and round, let the fruit aromas show through.

Other Reviews
Positive purple-red colour; the bouquet has a complex array of spice, black pepper, licorice and black fruits, the medium-bodied palate faithfully reflecting the bouquet, the tannins slightly savoury, but of high quality.
