2004 M. Chapoutier Mount Benson Shiraz

6 x 750ml Bottles
Cracka Review
2004 will long be known as the forgotten great vintage - an even, cool and quite classic year that produced full flavoured wines yet with more acidity than expected. Net result is wines that more sprightly, will live longer and have a better balance than most. This fine, medium bodied red is a perfect example too - spicy, but still ripe and full, a wine of surprises and structure with plenty of years in the tank still.
Cracka Wine Rating
Winemaker's Note
Appearance: Intense red.

Nose: Dominant of black fruit aromas (blackcurrant, blueberries, cherry).

Palate: Very round, slightly woody structure. The tannins, discrete and round, let the fruit aromas show through.
