2011 Truffle Hill The Doctor Riesling

12 x 750ml Bottles
Cracka Review
Half dry. The immediate question that comes to mind is... What's the other half? In truth, the half dry here refers to an off-dry style (the other 'half' being sweet), with sweetness matched to acidity to craft something juicy but refreshing. Admittedly the style isn't going to be for everyone but if you quite like a little juiciness in your wine you'll probably dig this.

Winemaker's Note
Appearance: - Light straw, lime green hues, brilliant clarity.

Nose: - Very intense floral, lime and tropical fruit aromas.

Palate: - Fresh flavoursome palate, generous lime and citrus, tropical fruit supported by fresh zesty acidity. Balanced fruit, sweetness and acidity contribute to the harmony of the palate structure, with lingering fruit flavours finishing dry and of good length.
Other Reviews
Beautifully fragrant lemon blossom aromas with a thread of slaty minerals and light stone fruit. Immediately gives the suggestion of sweetness which translates through to the palate. Nice balance of residual sugar and crisp acid provides an excellent mouth feel. Good wine with spicy food.
The West Australian Wine Guide
Zesty,/slatey lime fruit characters with residual sugar evident. Easy drinking.
