2005 Timmins Wines Hunter Valley Shiraz

12 x 750ml Bottles
Cracka Review
Timmins is a tiny family operation making authentic wines from the Hunter Valley and Orange. This medium bodied, yet still sufficiently dense, Hunter Shiraz is full of the meaty, chunky flavours of Hunter Shiraz that is purpose built for charcuterie and other meaty such foods.
Cracka Wine Rating
Winemaker's Note
Deep black-crimson; bouquet or rich mocha - coffee and chocolate - with oaky spice, liquorice, plums and mulberries; palate displays good, lasting acid, concomitant balancing tannins and a robust fruity mid-palate. Food: Beef steak, kangaroo, spaghetti bolognese, pizza, hard cheeses.
Other Reviews
Punches above its alcohol weight, with ripe plum and prune aromas and flavours, but then thins out on the finish.
