NV Ocean Bay Chardonnay Pinot Noir Sparkling

12 x 750ml Bottles
Cracka Review
The other name for this bubbly is the 'night pick sparkling' a reference to the fact that the grapes that went into this fizz were picked in the cool night rather than the day to preserve freshness. A bronze medal winner under its 'other' label, this is a crisp and light, snappy bubbly for easy drinking.

Winemaker's Note
This traditional sparkling is a blend of several vintages and the two classic varieties of Champagne, Chardonnay (89%) and Pinot Noir (11%). “Methode Traditionnelle” is also the classic method of Champagne for making sparkling wine and effectively means that the bottle you drink this wine from is the same bottle the wine was originally bottled and fermented in. Although this method is time consuming and expensive it produces the most flavoursome and delightful sparkling wines, evident in the glass.

Ocean Bay sparkling is a yellow straw colour with a hint of pink from the Pinot Noir. Mature white wine and fresh dough aroma’s are lifted from the glass by the fine and persistent bead. Citrus fruit, shortbread and confection flavours linger together harmoniously on the palate of this wine.
