2007 Salamandra Castilla y Leon Tempranillo

12 x 750ml Bottles
Cracka Review
A very handy Tempranillo from the largest wine region in Spain, this carries the trademark chocolatey rich mid-palate that Tempranillo is famous for and backed by the sort of meaty, rich savoury berried glory of the grape.

Winemaker's Note
Appearance: Beautiful red robe with glints of cherry.

Nose: A very pleasant nose of strawberry, raspberry and spice (black pepper).

Palate: The mouth is supple and easy with light tannins. Lots of fruit aromas on the finish.

Salamandra Reviews and Accolades

'Cherry cola, dried herbs and ash with some aniseed and nutty oak. It’s medium bodied with soft tannins and juicy red fruits punctuated by a few herbs. Not complex, nor deep, but easy going and tasty nonetheless. Affable.'
