2010 See Saw Classic White

12 x 750ml Bottles
Cracka Review
Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Verdelho? What a quirky blend this is. Actually, they should have put more Verdelho in the mix and dropped the Sauvignon Blanc, purely because these are the varieties that the Hunter does well. Anyways, this is a ripe and juicy sort of style, playing the tropical fruit card with aplomb.

Winemaker's Note
Winemakers Andrew Margan (Margan Family Winegrowers) & Hamish MacGowan (Angus The Bull) have united to create the perfect balancing act named See Saw. This Classic White blend is the second label under the See Saw Brand where their winemaking focus is all about cold ferments, modern stainless steel tanks and carefully selected yeast strains to bring out the best in the varieties.

Following the same philosophy of taking the best of a region and bringing them together to create a wine of genuine appeal, the See Saw Classic White label is a three way blend that combines the principle white varieties grown in the Hunter Valley. Semillon provides the texture and body, while the Sauvignon Blanc offers the structure, raciness and backbone with Verdelho contributing its perfumed exotica. The result is fresh and lively, combining lime and citrus characters with a hint of pineapple. The aim to create a wine that offers genuine value along with pure and simple drinking enjoyment.
