James Halliday (2012 Vintage) says:“
Pale green-quartz; the typical intensity, the spread of aromas and flavours in the ïnewÍ style, with specific cultured yeast(s) helping build the citrus and pear fruits, but without detracting from the sharply focused, laser-like line of the palate.Australian Wine Companion 2014 Edition 201394
James Halliday (2011 Vintage) says:“
Pale straw-green; as with so many modern Hunter Valley semillons, shares many characteristics in common with young riesling; this modern style seems to be in part due to yeast selection and screwcaps, a combination enhancing citrus and pear fruit on the bouquet, reappearing on the finish and aftertaste.

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says:“
Pale straw-green; a clean, fresh bouquet leads into a light but notably intense palate with lemon citrus fruit to the fore, crisp acidity bringing up the rear. Will develop very well.Australian Wine Companion 2012 201192
James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says:“
Bright straw-green; the clean bouquet is grassy (traditional) rather than the citrussy notes of most '09 semillons; the long palate opens the door to some citrus; the wine will develop with grace.Australian Wine Companion 2011 201092
Tyson Stelzer (2009 Vintage) says:“
Impressive result for the first vintage from this vineyard. Tight, honed and linear, with lemon and lime fruit developing some complexity of lanolin. That 2009 acid backbone will sustain it.WINE 100 Magazine - 2011 201191
