At the peak of its power, this is quintessentially luxurious aged Hunter Semillon. With a gorgeous array of honeysuckle, fig and burnt toast, lanolin texture and fresh lemongrass, this is a stunning bargain and a brilliant example of the unique take the Hunter has on Semillon. With richness and body from 13 years bottle age, crisp acidity lifts the palate and makes the 2004 Bilgavia Estate Hunter Valley Semillon incredibly moreish and easy to drink.
Bilgavia Estate has been making wine for a number of years, with most of the vineyard's grapes being sold to leading Hunter Valley winemakers. Grapes were grown on the property as far back as the 1820’s.
