2012 Seven Canoes Pinot Gris
Legend has it that New Zealand was settled in the 13th Century by people arriving in Seven Canoes from Eastern Polynesia. They formed the fabric of New Zealand’s indigenous society which today has evolved into one of rich multicultural diversity. The Seven Canoes wines are made from special vineyards, sensitively and expertly farmed. They represent the heritage and pioneering skills of all peoples of the land and are a true reflection of their origin.
Pale straw colour. Aromas of spiced pear, red apple and a hint of fresh ginger. The palate feel is soft with plenty of sweet fruit flavours and lovely refreshing acidity to give the wine great length.
